Discussion Board Plus supports emoji for discussion topics and replies.
By default, emoji are not enabled. Check the Enable Emoji box in the configuration tool pane to allow users to post topics and replies by either using the emoji picker control or by typing an emoji command into the body field.

NOTE: Emoji are not visible in the Forum and Management views.
